SD 49 Republicans are coming out on June 11 to support our candidates as they step up their 2016 campaigns. We are going walk local neighborhoods to drop our candidates’ campaign literature over as much of our district as we can through your volunteer support. We will come together at two primary meeting points on Saturday; come to whichever is convenient for you:
- 49A volunteers will meet in Edina at 11 am at Fox Meadow Park, just off Blake Road on Fox Meadow Lane. Water will be available for volunteers.
- 49B volunteers will meet in Bloomington at 9 am in the parking lot of Ridgeview Elementary School, near the corner of W. 94th St and Nesbitt Rd. Donuts, coffee, and water will be available for volunteers
The candidates will be leading our efforts, so we are looking for a great turn-out. We will be taking pictures at both locations.
Lunch will be provided by Max and Elsie Rymer to the volunteers who participate in the 49B lit drop. Details will be provided at the 49B meeting location Saturday morning.
We appreciate whatever time you’re willing to put in. Your support will go a long way toward showing our candidates that we appreciate their willingness to step forward and run. With a good turn-out, we shouldn’t need more than two-to-three hours of your time.
