Our featured speaker at our Tuesday, August 7, meeting will discuss whether we are using America’s military correctly in our many commitments around the world and how effectively we are using all our tools of national power to attain our national security objectives. Jon Olson is a retired career naval intelligence officer, author and current visiting lecturer at Carlton College with extensive expertise in matters of military strategy, policy and national security.

MN GOP chair Jennifer Carnahan and Jim Newberger for U.S. Senate will also speak briefly, and other candidates who have a primary August 14 have been invited.

Cost: $5/member, $10/non-member

Beginning with our August meeting, you will have the option of ordering a box lunch, which will include a choice of roast beef, turkey or ham sandwich; potato salad or coleslaw and a desert. The cost will be $10 for members or $15 for non-members. For those not wishing to order a box lunch, the snack/beverage option will still be offered at $5 for members and $10 for non-members. Please note: we accept cash and checks only, no credit cards.

Dues for the remainder of 2018 are $10 per person or $15 per couple. You will save money if you attend two of the remaining five meetings. The fee per meeting includes the beverage and snack and helps us defray the cost of the room.
