The best networking event for conservatives in the southwest metro will meet a week earlier in August than normal. This month, Republicans are invited to join us on Monday, August 1, for Pints & Politics. We will kick off at 5:00 pm at The Tavern on France, 6740 France Ave S, Edina. Catch up with fellow conservatives and some of our best candidates as they prepare for the big push to November.
While Pints & Politics is primarily a networking event, we will give our candidates the opportunity to speak for a few minutes after 7 pm.
This is a great chance to talk one-on-one with our candidates, then listen to them address the crowd. Beth Beebe, candidate for MN House District 50B, will be joining us this month. Jai Hanson, candidate for Hennepin County Sheriff, will also stop by. We expect to learn of other candidates as we get closer to the event. Recently, we were joined by Tad Jude, candidates for Hennepin County Attorney. We have also been able to speak with Doug Fulton and Frank Pafko, running for the MN Senate in SD50 and SD51, as well as Ryan Wiskirchen and Chad Anderson, running for the MN House in HD51A and HD51B.
If you RSVP on or before the deadline of July 30, you can enjoy the $14 early registration price. This fee covers your first drink and great flatbread pizza appetizers! Under our arrangement with the Tavern, our servers will only accept drink tickets. Scroll over to RSVP and save your spot.
If you purchase a ticket after July 30, the price is $19. Additional drink tickets available for $9 each. We urge you to use the drink tickets rather than buy drinks at the bar to help us cover the room minimum.
Come as early as 5 pm or drop in up to 7:30 pm, as many of us will still be there. Take a break, have a beverage and talk in-person with local party leaders, candidates, and a number of genuinely good people.
