Message from Alec Beck: CD5 Convention Call

Sharing message from Alec Beck: CD5 Convention Call:
Good morning everyone.  I attach another copy of the Call for the CD5 Convention on April 22nd.  I heard there were some email glitches with the previous version of this, so I am resending in the interest of being complete.  The Call is also available on our CD5 website.  Please note that all four CD Officer positions are up this year, as is one at-large State Central delegate position, and three elected "Vice Chair" positions (essentially at-large members of the CD Committee).  Anyone who is interested in running should contact Nominations Chair Patty Mesenbrink.  We'll be serving food and beverages, and as always adult beverages are available upstairs at the VFW.  Please make plans to attend if you can.

Volunteers Needed for SD50 Convention

2022_Convention_Pic2_(2).jpg

The Senate District 50 Convention, tentatively set for next year on March 4, will require a number of volunteers to ensure it runs smoothly.  Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Several committees will begin work early in the new year to organize the convention.  These committees include Arrangements, Rules, Bylaws, Registration, Credentials, Tellers (vote counters), and Sergeant-at-Arms (security).  Precinct Chairs from both House District 50A and House District 50B are needed to serve on the Officer Nominating Committee.

These committees need to be set up as early as possible in January, so please let both Chair Pam Tucholke at [email protected] and Secretary George Rerat at [email protected] know on what committee(s) you would like to serve. First come, first choice.
