Tuesday was a historic day for our country - it was the final State of the Union address by Barack Obama.

We are all aware of the disastrous impact of the President's tenure on America's leadership and our economy - it's real and significant. There is a decline in the belief of the American Idea. Today, only 27 percent of Americans believe that their children or future generations will achieve the American Dream.

America needs economic growth, because growth solves lots of problems.  If you're weak at home, you're weak abroad. And we're seeing this play out today: fewer small business startups, wages are flat, record numbers of people in poverty; and at the same time Iran, Russia and ISIS are flexing their muscle.

This is the year we pass our agenda to create jobs and grow our economy. I will continue push to fix a broken tax code, eliminating onerous regulations and more oversight of the Obama administration executive overreach.
