March with us in Edina’s July 4th Parade!
Summer is here, and with it the first of the summer festivals and parades. In a year of state-wide political elections, a large Republican turn-out for these events will be an important indicator of our excitement and support of our candidates.
The big Edina 4th of July parade will appropriately take place on Monday, July 4. It always attracts state and local candidates to march with us. Sign up now and we will keep you informed about the candidates that will be joining us.
All it takes is 3 hours, from 9:00 am -- 12:00 pm. We start near the Edina Community Center, go north to city hall, and end about a block west of the 50th and France intersection in Edina. This is an easy walk of about a mile in length.
Beyond the significance of the numbers in our group, walking as a Republican in this parade is to be a part of a patriotic local tradition. It is an energizing spectacle filled with fun and great camaraderie. Come spend time with friends, support our candidates, and get a little exercise.
