I urge you to attend a fundraiser this Saturday for Frank Drake, a neighbor in Edina and candidate for US Congress in the Fifth Congressional District. 

Frank is working very hard to replace Keith Ellison as your representative in the US Congress.  He has taken the message of empowering people to the streets of north Minneapolis.  As news comes out about fraud by state-funded community action groups, poor performing urban schools, and the gang-related shooting of innocent people in Minneapolis neighborhoods, Frank has asked, "Where is Keith?"  We have gotten no answer.

Former Minnesota Senator Rudy Boschwitz supports Frank and will speak on Frank's behalf at the fundraiser.  To underscore how Frank's message has resonated across the 5th District, Anthijuan Beeks will also speak at the event.  Mr. Beeks has served the people of Minneapolis as a School Resources Officer, a member of the Minneapolis Police Activity League, and as a patrol officer.  He is the founder of Face 2 Face, a program that educates youth and adults on topics involving potential community interactions with police, including domestic altercations, truancy, gangs, and more.
