Join Us Friday Evening, September 9

Always ready to try something new, Senate Districts 50 & 51 have moved the annual family picnic to Friday evening, September 9.  The State Fair is over, the kids are back in school, and we’re leaving Saturday afternoons free for door-knocking and phone calling. 

The picnic will start about 5 pm.  Smoked barbeque by MJ Barbeque will again be offered this year, along with Tom’s Famous roasted corn on the cob. We will have hot dogs for the kids, and a variety of side dishes and beverages. Food will be served from approximately 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. 

SHELTER #1 is a great picnic area for our family event. It is close to a kids play area, Sand Volleyball court, and horse shoe pit. Parking is free for our group.

You can anticipate that a few legislators, candidates, party leaders and good friends will stop by. A great opportunity to connect!  We'll do all of the cooking, slicing, and clean-up. Events will begin wrapping up about 8 pm.

Early Bird Tickets will be available through August 31 (SCROLL OVER TO RSVP)

• Advance Adult Ticket prices will be $17 per person (age 12 and up)
• Children ages 5-11 will cost $5 per child
• Children under age 5 are free

After August 31, ticket prices will be $20 per person (12 years of age and older)
