Sept. 27 Dinner Meeting to Highlight Edina & Bloomington Issues

The Dar Omer Al Farook Islamic Center in Bloomington and a Nordic track at the Braemar Golf Course in Edina may not appear to have much in common at first glance.  However, they both are symbolic of community issues that have been poorly handled by our local city governments.

The program for our dinner meeting on Tuesday evening, September 27 will explore the background story of these issues.   We will highlight the story behind these concerns affecting our communities and how our local city governments are making decisions without seeking broad citizen engagement in those decisions.

We will also get an update from our candidates in this year’s elections and conduct some Full Committee business.  If you are a precinct chair or co-chair, we urge you to attend this program.
Come at 6 PM for an informal social get-together.  Dinner is served at 6:30 PM.  The program starts at 7 PM
